Perioperative and Anesthesia Services

David Kobis conducted operational, financial, and strategic improvement reviews of perioperative and anesthesia services for health systems in Ohio, California, Colorado, Washington, and Hawaii, resulting in improved physician and staff satisfaction, higher efficiency and lower costs, the establishment of surgical governance structures with physicians and hospital administration, and the development of long-term growth strategies. 

He also negotiated new anesthesia contracts and helped implement new provider models for hospitals and health systems, including a two-hospital system in Rhode Island, a hospital in Pennsylvania, and another hospital in New York. New contracts ensured consistent surgical coverage and avoided disruption in services, reduced and/or held constant financial support stipends, and accelerated the transition of coverage models from all anesthesiologists to team-based CRNAs saving each organization hundreds of thousands of dollars.
